Burlington Northern searchlight signals can be connected to the Signalist SC1 as in the below diagram.

Note that when using the CV38=8 configuration, flashing aspects can be achieved by toggling between the solid aspect and dark. Software such as JMRI will do this automatically.

In JMRI use DCC Signal Mast Decoder for CV38=77 and CV38=129. For CV38=8 use Double Output (without Lunar) or Triple Output RGB (with Lunar) for each head. Visit the JMRI BN-1989 signal system to see the available mast types. The triple head mast variant has not been included here because it cannot show any more aspects than a double head, so if you want to model a triple head you will need to create the mast from individual heads
